Her Voice Her Power Girls’ Edition Scholarship Application

About the Scholarship


The Her Voice Her Power Girls’ Edition Scholarship is a unique opportunity for a deserving young girl to

participate in our empowering 10-week virtual program free of charge. This program is designed to build

confidence, develop leadership skills, and create a supportive space where girls can thrive.

If you’re creative, driven, and excited about joining a community of amazing peers, this scholarship is for

you!


Application Instructions


To apply for the scholarship, please complete the following steps:



Step 1: Teacher Recommendation

Ask a teacher, counselor, or mentor who knows you well to write a short recommendation (1 page or less).

The recommendation should include:

Your name.

How long they’ve known you and in what capacity.

Examples of your creativity, leadership, kindness, or why they believe you would benefit from this program.


Step 2: Create a Video


Record a video no longer than 2 minutes.

Your video should include:


A showcase of something you love to do:

This could be poetry, rapping, singing, painting, dancing, or any creative talent you’re passionate about. Your

Story:


Tell us why you would like to be part of the Her Voice Her Power Girls’ Edition program. What excites you

about this opportunity, and how will it help you grow? Step 3: Submit Your Application


Your name, age, and contact information (or parent/guardian contact information). Your teacher's

recommendation (as a PDF or Word document). Your video (you can upload to YouTube as an unlisted link)  Scholarship Application Checklist Before submitting, make sure you’ve

Important Notes Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their creativity, enthusiasm, and alignment

with the program’s values. Applicants will be notified of the scholarship decision by February 25, 2025. We’re excited to learn more about you and see your talents shine!
